Brr

I guess I am kinda a gloomy person.... But well, the more you love something, the more you can get hurt by it...

Very hurt by the match score.. and very pissed off with the refs... its freaking 1 sided game with 7 vs 5 men and I hate it... but well, our team synergy and skills did not compensate in the lapse of game dynamics....

Well, nuff said, when I get to ref the matches of this two referees, I gonna have my revenge.. dont blame me at that point of time, blame yourself...

Now I understand why are there so many kayu refs... refs are human, they make mistakes.. yes, but sometimes, they make too much mistakes, that other refs arent happy with them, and when that happens, the whole world of refs become kayu... So Mr. G_____N _H_A, you watch out :D

On the good note, FYP presentation gonna be over in like 2 days time, and also... school will be over soon!

Sick

I wonder why, everytime I am down with fever, or flu, or sore throat, the other 2 will come along...

Fever, Flu and Sore Throat seems to be very good friends...

They can't take me down singlehandedly therefore they always seek for assistance amongst one another..

I don't blame my white blood cells for being unable to fight back because of the immense viruses in my body... Ok well.... I skipped school today... because I am really sick...

On a good note, my bro initiated cooking noodles for me! hahaha thats like 1 in a million...

And also, he bought dinner!

Ok when I am well, I gonna rush out of the house and go walk walk..

hahha Anyone keen to go shopping?

Im so bored of school and home... I hope I can resume sports asap...

Anyone Onz for a swim or a jog at west area?

Joke

Its mysterically interesting that sometimes, the one you like do not like you, while the one you do not like, likes you, and what you want is not what you get while what you get is not what you want...

Life is interestingly uninteresting..

And the largest joke I have heard this whole week is: "Mel will die cute"

Hahahhah beat that.

Woot

"Hey Melvin, I would need coaches soon, are you ready?"

"Yea"

"Ok, I will call you up soon"

SHIOOOOKKKK.... This is like something that can really make me high.. hahahahahah...
Alright, I like coaching because of a few reasons :
1. It gives me satisfaction when the team I coach wins
2. It gives me more satisfaction when I prove that I am better than the opposing coach.
3. I like people to carry out my orders "heh heh heh"
4. I like to scold people and its a good way of doing it
5. I love to nag although my players do not like that
6. It triggers me to think alot when Im coaching
7. Most importantly, I gain respect, and I touch lives :D

Ok at least thats something that happen this year which is worth being happy for...
Yay Im recovering already.. after a long day rest at home.... But its kinda boring though.......

whyyy

Haiz... I have nothing to look forward this new year...

The championship vying team last year has lost 3 out of 4 matches since the season started... May I ask why?

We lost to TBT, 3-2, a very close margin... and we started well, but ended badly, why do we have to always take the lead and then lose it again?

Im so tired and sick of it... and I wanted to copulate like a million times..

Let me reiterate that, team synergy is formed, when there is a common goal, and everyone know their responsibility, in and out of court, what to do, when to do, and how to do....

To the seniors, and those in the team last year, this match means alot to us... we won TBT 7-3 last year, and to lose is a shame...

I have nth more to say, just that we should really concentrate on the remaining matches...

Guys - Train your passes and receiving, also, shots!
Be responsible to yourself and the team...

Nth to look forward to... :(

3 more weeks, and i will be out of school... Hopefully the army wants me in early...

Haiz, today is a dam sad day, sick + lose = everything that caused my day..

Snorta!

Grr, just woke up after catching like 12 hours of sleep.

I know this is bad, but I am still suffering from the aftermath of the floorball marathon.

Anyway, this is how yesterday went....

Caleb, Kenneth Chai, Horn Sau, Anne, Michelle, Jarrod, Ian, James, Chia wen and I went to PitStop Cafe to have fun.

Haha, upon reaching there, a few of us started playing "hey! thats my fish!" and trust me on that, its really fun. Although I got the most tiles, but I still lost out in the number of fishes... Luck wasnt on my side! anyway, when Ian and company arrived, they started playing ugly ugly. And it is an awesome sight to see how crazy ian, james and chia wen shouts ugly ugly and snatches the cards. And let me tell you that, Ian is really crazy that he strained/sprained his finger because of the huge slams on the table.

Our table played another game, it has a bell and all we have to do is count fruits, well its kinda fun, and the first person who reaches the bell is always caleb or horn. So unfair! hahha....

Then we played imaginiff.... Bah it was fun, there was a question on choosing the sportsman, everyone thought I would choose michael jordan but in the end I chose Arnold Palmer, because its the brand of a guy's apparel. Hahahaha.

Anyway, there was a question about chia wen, something like "if you were to write a song, what will be the lyrics"

The options were:
1. (mushy mushy) - Cant remember
2. (mushy mushy) - Cant remember
3. (mushy mushy) - Cant remember
4. Sometimes its hard to put all my love on one man
5. (mushy mushy) - Cant remember
6. (something descriptive about a place) - Cant remember

In the end, she chose 6! hahahah I guess she dont want to choose the other 5 because there was a presence of someone... LOL

Alas! When Ian, Chia Wen and James left, Jarrod came. We started to play a game named Snorta! Everyone has a little farm house to cover their animals. They are supposed to have a sound for their animals. Then we will uncover the cards and the people who have the similar card must shout for one another's animal sound to take the card.

First round - Horn drew a mouse, and he chose the sound "ratatouille!" haha everytime we have a similar card showing up at his deck, we yelled ratatouille like crazy and it was very easy to remember.

Second round - Jarrod drew a mouse, refusing to change his fate, he continued using ratatouille, and failed terribly as well.

Last round - Caleb drew a frog, he wanted to change a new sound such that it is not so easy for the rest to take his cards. He changed it to "Grr Grr" and my oh my, Jarrod was Grr Grring the whole round and swallowing his cards. It was dam funny...

After that, the rest went home, and caleb, jarrod, horn and I went to play L4D for awhile, we have some you tiao and soya bean milk, and went home.... Thanks Jarrod who sent us home! although im not an excellent navigator! hahahah

That was for yesterday, FUN! :D

Floorball Overnight

Yay I finally woke up!

With aching muscles though, I should start blogging about yesterday night and this morning before I forget! ahhaha...

Yesterday we went to play L4D, haha but it wasnt long before I have to leave. Anyway, I reached Tampines Mrt Station at 6.40pm, I had to be there by 7.30pm, so i knew Im still early. According to the website I researched on the location of TWCC, I could take bus 291 or 293 to the destination. However, I wanted to explore tampines, which is quite foreign to me. As I was walking along the streets, I noticed that the atmosphere and the surroundings, though similar to the west, but it does carry a different feeling. As I walked past the fun fair, I could see many mini games I used to play when I was a kid, and it does give me a nostalgic feeling.

Anyway, since I was still early, and my memory could recall the map of tampines(from the website), more or less I could make my way to the place. I walked past tampines central, and reached a junction where the stadium is. By then, I had officially declared that I do not know the place well. Anyway, I asked an aunty where is TWCC, and she said there are many community centres around and she does not know the specific name. So, from what I recall, I remembered that TWCC is kinda near St Hilda's. So I asked her where is St Hilda's. She asked me to walk straight from the junction. So... I strolled through the streets. And finally I reached the place. I was early, at 7.10pm. So I read my book, and waited for my team to arrive. Then I saw Nightingales, and they said Hi to me, and then we moved up to the court.

I was so glad to see starsky and SM there as well. Looks like they are really passionate and eager to improve, and as Nighthawk's team leader, I felt very pleased. Anyway, the first thing they told me is "Eh we won 6-0!" and then the second thing was "We have only 4 person". And then I recalled, from what Miss Nice told me, that anyone can anyhow chapalang join a team, and it doesnt matter how many teams u join etc. So I went to collect a blue shirt(despite I am red) and sign in my name at the form.

First match with Falcons was great, it was a comfortable victory and we really had lots of fun. The venue was air-conditioned, but din really post a problem as I got used to Republic Poly's court, which is also air conditioned.

Then, my team arrived with the red shirts, and let me tell you that, my team is a bunch of great people. They are very fun loving and very accepting. Well, we are the team 11B! hahha it consists of : Joseph, Yi Hong, Joel, Zach and Me! Surprisingly, our first match is against falcons. Everyone was just having fun. And to keep up the pace with SM and Starsky isnt easy. We imported Yanto as our 6th player that match. Kinda fun.. hahaha. Anyway, we won all our 3 matches, credits to everyone who played as a team. And I am very pleased, that when I play with them, I can trust them, I do not need to dribble much and show any individual flair. Because their support and movement compliments me.

After the matches, I got really bored, so I offered to ref for some matches, to train my decision making too. Was kinda rusty, because some shots taken are really fast and they hit the inner pole and come out. Couldnt judge from far whether the goal was conceded anot. Anyway, I think that I am kinda kayu to a certain extent but I was really trying my best. I was getting more and more tired and my fever was coming back. Anyway, when the 2hr nonstop floorball match started. I did ask Mr Ngasti whether I can play. He told me that he registered 6 players for each team and they are going for record setting. So, I went to slack awhile before coming back to the court. When I was back to the court. I noticed that JB's team, was only left with 5 players. Mr Ngasti walked by and asked me whether I am still interested to play. Wow Wow Wow... I swear I was high. Anyway, it was great exposure, we had very slow line changes because everyone was conserving energy. It wasnt easy for Angela, who had to ref a 2hr long game, and watch every foul and goal. My team consists of Joseph, Zul, Fairis, and two more pasirian guys, whom 1 of them is the captain. They are very nice people, and the captain keep making jokes with me. I would say that Pasirian has really improved alot since the last time I played against them.

After the record setting, we were pretty zombified. But the more tired I am, the more I want to play, haha, so anyhow just chapalang some teams. Then, I was talking to Mr Ngasti, about floorball, the sideboards, how he started the team and how he manages it. I would say, he is really a very great guy, and he even offered to pay me for refereeing the match. He told me the little little details on how he manages his players. He said that players need respect before they will respect you, and I find it kinda true. As Innova's coach, and the tactician of Nighthawks, oftenly, I was commanding alot, and not respecting the players, whether they like it or not, thats how I am going to play the game. Well, results had proven my failure, although I might have the best tactics in the world, but I lack personal touch with the team. Mr Ngasti told me that he funds the team as well, and helps the poorer players. Well, Im still a student.. so... my team pays 65 bucks per season, and 5-10 dollars per training. I know that it is quite tough, and has thus obstructed many committed players from coming due to financial reasons. Mr Ngasti also taught me what is perseverance, patience and endurance, when it comes to setting up a team. In the past, whenever I see him playing against my team, be it YJC during A div, or Pasirian, I used to belittle him, maybe because of his appearance or for dont know what reason. But as I was talking to him, those players who was going home went and kiss his hand goodbye, and I could say, they truly respect him and have a good relationship with him. Then, it reminded me that players do respect Mr Amir too, and Filip. And thats when I realised, how good these coaches are, it is not about their tactics and drills only, its about caring for one another, and it kind of ashamed me, that although I am a christian, but sometimes, I dont really care.

Well, after talking to him, I was kind of tired, so I just took a cab home to sleep.
What I ate for the day : 2 siew mais, 1 double hamburger plain, 1 packet of dry noodles

So happy, I avoided spicy and seafood, and also cut down on calories intake.

Well, if there is an event like this next year, I will definitely join again!
